Westfield Chesil Factory Visit
On the last Saturday in September the club was invited to visit Chesil’s production and development facility at Westfield-Chesil in Bicester.
It was a cracking sunny day, and we had a great turn out of Speedsters (and Mikes's 550 Spyder on the day.
We had a fascinating tour hosted by Ed Braclik, the Westfield Chesil General Manager, who not only showed us round the facility with a number of cars 'in build', but also gave some fascinating insights on the challenges and highlights of running a small-volume car manufacturer.
It's clear that Chesil continues to be in rude health, with continued development of the Speedster including the availability of a fuel-injected air-cooled engine in the latest cars, or the option of full electric power. For more information, connect to Chesil at www.chesil.co.uk.

Top Car 2024
We held the annual 'Top Car Award' while we there - all the cars were beautifully turned out but the award went to with his beautiful black 2017 Chesil Speedster.After the Chesil visit we headed off in convoy to the club AGM at a local village hall. It was the largest attendance we have seen in a number of years, and the sight of a band of Speedsters and Spyders in the sunsgine was something to see. Here's to more of that!
