Intermeccanica Roadster - NOW SOLD
I am selling my beautiful and very rare RHD Intermeccanica Roadster.
This is a replica of the Porsche 356 Convertible D, the immediate successor to the Speedster and with more creature comforts, such as taller windscreen, windup windows, and comfortable seats.
The car was imported new in 2008, SVA tested (predecessor to IVA) and correctly registered as an Intermeccanica.
The engine is a 2.6 litre Type 4 built by well-known US air-cooled specialist Jake Raby and fitted with external oil coolers.
Current mileage is 6,500. The car is finished in original Porsche ivory with dark brown leather seats, dark brown lined cloth hood with zip-out rear window, and fitted with a number of period parts including an original Porsche 356 steering wheel, Blaupunkt radio, Leitz luggage rack and Hella spotlights. After eight years of happy motoring, the arrival of a new baby means that I am looking to sell my Speedster.
The car has a new MOT with no advisories.
Powered by an 1,800cc Arnie Levics flat four air-cooled engine, this lovely car is finished in Polar Silver with wind-up windows and Motolita wood-rim steering wheel. Stainless steel exhaust, dark red carpets and matching edging. Immobiliser. Click on the gallery for high-res images.
