I bought my speedster more than 30 years ago, 3/4 complete. It was in red gel coat and I fancied a new collar and repaint. I stripped the car, had it painted and it took me more than 25 years (with the help of Richard Maxwell building and other club members finding a new engine - built by the late Dan Simpson) to get it back together on the road, complete with a repaint and a retrim!
